Congratulations to all of the PWMS students who participated in our annual STEM Fair on Thursday, March 21! This fun, educational event promotes the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork skills–and promotes many students’ interest in STEM subjects and careers!
Projects on display included experiments in physics, robotics, nutrition, and chemistry. Students investigated topics including creating vegetable-based food dyes, the physics and chemistry behind cooking popcorn, how to make a lightbulb, and screen time's impact on memory.
We extend special thanks to Ms. Cunniff for her leadership of the event; PWMS staff for their assistance with the fair; our volunteer judges, many of them QHS students; parents and guardians for supporting our young scientists; and, of course, our students for making the event possible!
Congratulations to all of our participants for their hard work and dedication!
